I am searching for information on my great grandfather, Johannes (Joe) B. Christiansen. What I have to date is very little. Johannes and Alice Scott Christiansen lived in Larchwood, Iowa according to the 1900 federal and 1905 Iowa census. In the 1910 census, my great grandmother, Alice, was shown to be living in Valley Springs, South Dakota with the children and listed as married. In the 1915 South Dakota census, she was shown as widowed. The children are: Rosa, Lillie Mae, James, Nellie, Raymond (my grandfather), Ella, Fannie, Pearl, William, Loraine, Clifford and Nora. I would appreciate any help in obtaining information on my great grandparents.

From the Minnesota Census we have found the following for my family.
The 1880 Census shows Bringleson.
The 1900 Census shows Bringelson.
The 1910 Census shows Bryngelson.
The 1920 Census shows Bryngelson.
And the spelling seems to have remained as such up to this point.
My Grandfather's brother, August, could have carried the Bringleson spelling on with his family, if he had a family. We have not been able to find him after the 1880 Census.
My Great Grandfathers name was Andrew/Andreas. My Grandfathers name was Carl/Charles and my fathers name was Albert. They are from the Cokato, MN area.

They are both buried in Graceland Park Cemetery Omaha, NE.
Seeking information about my grandfather, Hagen Vilhelm Ottesen b. 07-07-1858 in Skedsmo, Norway d. 1907 - his birth is recorded in the Skedsmo Akershus Church.
His father was Otto Christiansen Tomte b. 1833 in Skedsmo - m. Marie Rasmusdatter 12-04-1854 - b. 1834 in Nittedal, Norway.
