Unable to confirm identity of birth mother since most searches do not show middle name. She was born 1913-1922? She was working in Hollywood,CA in 1946. Is Gudren a given or surname? I was told she was Danish and may therefore not be in US birth or even death indexes if she returned to Denmark. Where do I find records outside the US? I am trying to get my original birth certificate released by court which would give me more information. Any hints to get it released easily?

Sunny,
The Hans that matches the closest is the 6th child of the 7 born to Christian Johansen Christoffersen, Denmark and Christiane Pedersdatter, Denmark. There were 5 boys and 2 girls born and they all were born in Denmark. Hans was born Jan. 19, 1849 Denmark and died June 13, 1871 Hyrum, Utah where he is also buried. If this is of any help please let me know as I have more. Also my daughter lives near Hyrum Utah and she can get a picture of his Headstone if you want it.
Let me know and good luck.

I actually found out that the Hans Christiansen I'm looking for had a father named Christoffer Christiansen, born in Denmark around 1846. Hans is 1 of 7 children, 3 boys and 4 girls. I'm not sure where Hans was born, but he had 5 children.
I am going to jump in on this discussion. I am a descendant of Christian
Christoffersen through his son Lars Hans Christiansen. It appears that
we might all be looking at the same family. Christian's middle name is
listed as John, Johan, and Johansen in different places. Peter
Christiansen is one of Christian's children, along with Hans and Lars.
