I'm looking for my great-grandfather Philip Christian's family. He was born June 1874 probably in the Charlottesville, VA or the surrounding areas. In his obituary, his parents names are Philip and Millie (NMN)Christian, possibly from the VA area. He may have had a brother that moved to Canada. He married Catherine Rose Thompson also from Charlottesville, VA and they moved to Versailles Boro, Allegheny, Pennsylvania and had 6 children Alfred, William, Elizabeth, Hilda, James (my grandfather) and Helen all born in PA.
I'm and not for certain that Philip was born in Charlottesville, or if the names I have are correct.
Anyone with any information regarding the Christians in the VA area please contact me. I am really stumped searching for any family connection. He has become my Big Red Brick Wall!
