Hi, I saw your posting and thought would let you know how I am connected to the WINSHIP line. My mother was Pearl Esther (Winship) Floyd. Her line goes directly to Edward Winship who came to Boston in 1635, son of Lyonel Wynshoppe of England. I have been working on my FLOYD / WINSHIP lines for many years now. I am a stickler for correct info, with sources, but I love the stories, pictures and documents that help know who my families are. If you still have info that you would like to share, I would really appreciate it very much. You can email me at yakima40(a)aol.com. Looking forward to hear.ding from you. Marie in VA

I am new to tracing my roots, but have been very interested in discovering from where I came. Identifying Thomas Bailey Christian's parents is important to me as my grandfathers were Vernon Fredrick Christian, Alonzo Columbus Christian, Thomas Beavers Christian, Moses Bailey Christian, and then Thomas Bailey Christian. Unfortunately for me, the Y-DNA chain stopped after my grandfather Vernon F. Christian as he had two daughters. I will check with my mother to see if any of Vernon's uncle's kept the Y-DNA chain going through today.
I would be interested in learning the results of any other DNA test that relate to TOB.

Elizabeth married a William Halcomb. I am trying to find information on their son Hendersen born in Ky in 1867. I am trying to connect Hendersen to a wife Martha Medlin Gayhart.
