Looking for information on Thomas Christian, who was born in Edgefield District, SC in 1795 and died in Chambers County, AL in 1846. He was the son of Gideon and Sarah Christian and married Nancy Scurry. Particularly interested in a copy of Thomas' will and estate records. Also wish to know about Bonnie Christian Pressley, who, in 1987, had in her possession many of the Christian family papers.

Mr. Earl Christian was my great uncle. wonder if any of his descendants are still living, and where they might be. I've researched Earl's father, my gr grandfather, Marion, and know quite a lot about him, but not where HIS parents came from and their names. Thanks.

SLEPT ON THE OLD DEPOT FLOOR.
The wreck on the Chicago & Alton Railroad yesterday
afternoon which caused local train service between
Kansas City and Marshall, Mo., to be annulled until this
morning, made it necessary for Mrs. Earl M. CHRISTIAN
of Higginsville, and three small children, to spend a rather
uncomfortable night at the Union Depot.
Mrs. Ollie EVERINGHAM, the matron, obtained a pair of
heavy bed comforts which were doubled up and served
as a bed on the floor for the three children.

Theodore is listed in Moniteau Co, Mo.
He was born ca 1874-76.
His father's occupation in 1880 was a engineer Steam Mill.
Henry the father says he was born in Mo and his parents were from Va.
In 1860 there is a John James Christian who is white living by some African American Christians, I think the name was E. Christian.
John James Christian was born in Amherst Co, Va, his father was John Ford Christian and they moved to Henry Co, Va for awhile and then went to Moniteau Co, Mo in 1839.
Do you think that Theodore was a part of this family?
Gay Nix
Cliff,
Sorry, do not have those names in any of my data.

Clara,
Sorry, The CHRISTIAN branch to which I was referring was in Illinois in 1840, 1850 and 1860. One or two of the children moved to the Alton and Saint Louis area by 1880.

Kim, My grandmother's full maiden name was Martha Ann (Burd) Christian; m. John Peele. Her parents' names were Marion and Margaret (Burd) Christian. They were from Tenn. to Mo. Born in Maries Co Mo. in 1848. I can't find the parents of Marion.
Cliff; I don't recognize any of those family names. Must be a different bunch. My Christian family moved, finally, to Dallas Co. Missouri.
Anyone know where and when is the Mo Christian Family reunion?
