He was only married twice. First to Aggy Bailey and then to Elizabeth Thrasher. I have researched this family for nearly 20 years and I have never seen him married to a Cavin. I published a book on the Hawkins Co., Tn Christian family in Oct. 2005. If you are interested contact me at nchristian(a)chartertn.net. Have about 35 left out of 300.

I am trying to find out how many times William L. Christian b. 1803-d.1861, Hawkins County, TN, son of John M. Christian and Nancy B. Skelton was married. I have seen three spouses listed: Agnes Lewis Bailey, Mary Cavin, and Elizabeth Thresher. I know that Mary Cavin was married to his brother Lewis Christian who died in 1843. Elizabeth is listed as executrix of his will. Also, who are his biological children and who would have been from other marriages?
Thanks!

Looking for information on Smith Christian's ancestry. He was my children's great grandfather. He was married to Mary Elizabeth McNally; their daughter Lucy was my mother-in-law.
Any information will be appreciated.

Ayers - Christian Wedding
A wedding of great interest to a large circle of friends was quietly solemnized yesterday afternoon at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Walter P. Ayers, when their daughter, Miss Eleanor Hall Ayers, was united in marriage to Captain Francis L. Christian, C. A. O., United States Army, Fort Crockett, with service read by Rt. Rev. Monsignor J. M. Kirwin, V. G.
Only the intimate friends of the contracting parties were in attendance. The young couple departed immediately after the ceremony for a short wedding tour, after which they will be at home to their friends at Fort Crockett.

Am trying to find/reach descendant of Samuel W. and Martha Ellen Carmichael CHRISTIAN family that lived in Ashley County, Arkansas in late 1850's and early 1860's. I am in contact with a person who for years has had a tombstone for one of their children: Samuel John CHRISTIAN (Born: 7/29/1858; Died: 5/14/1859) - Probably Ashley County, Arkansas (Hamburg). This person would like to get this tombstone which is quite old (probably original) back to family for placement back on gravesite (if known) or in their possession. This person has for years been trying to find the family of this young boy but had NO idea where he was from or how to find the family. I told him that I would try to reach someone through genealogy websites. Contact me at: tnbprice(a)netdoor.com , and I will be glad to give you information on how to contact this person.
