Martha Ellis married Thomas Moffitt, of Virginia, who settled in St.
Charles Co., Mo., in 1830.
Would anyone know who this Tomas Moffitt was? Was he related to the
Christians?

Richard ( Dick ) Christian was also my GGG grandfather. I am decended from his son Thomas ( my GG Grandfather ) a brother of Gideon.
Because Dick Christian had 21 children we are a big community and I have made contact with a few cousins during my years of research.
Its always nice to hear of another so welcome to the family.

I am looking for documentation of the parents of Dr. Nicholas T. Christian, born 1819 in GA.
Married Margret Wilson Jan 29, 1846 Randolph Co., GA.
1850 Census - Randolph Co., GA shows N.T. (32), Margrett (22), Ella (3) -- Ella was my gr-grandmother.
1860 Census - Quitman Co., GA shows Nicholas T. (40); Margret (33), Ella (11), Anna (9) and Emma (7).
All indications are that my Nicholas T. Christian is the NICHOLAS THORNTON CHRISTIAN, born Apr 2, 1819 and died Apr 25, 1893 - Son of Gabriel Christian and Harrison Blair Gilmer Christian - but I can find no documentation to prove this. Any help appreciated.

I have an application for marriage to the Randolph County Clerk, Chester,
IL, made by JOHN A. CHRISTIAN to marry Dorotha Berner. He signed the
document as Hans Anton Christian. This was in 1869. Does anyone recognize
any of this information?
My grandmother was Sarah Perry Christian who married Samuel Asbury.

I believe these men are the sons of Andrew Christian, Sr. who may have died
about 1795. Most or all of these men were born in Hanover County.
John married Judith Pate. They had children starting with Paul in 1772 all
the way down to Jane who was born in 1790. John died in 1792, I assume in
Fayette Co., Kentucky. Most, if not all, of his children were born in Virginia.
William possibly married Martha Evans. I can find no children. He died in
1828 in Fayette Co., Kentucky.
Andrew ( my line) died in Fayette Co., Kentucky in 1837. He married Mary
"Polly" Hatton (or reversed) in Amelia Co, VA. They had 12 children including
my Elizabeth "Betsy" who was born in VA. in 1795. I DO NOT know any of her
siblings' names but about 1850 her mother said she had 12 kids living in
Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri.
Jacob died in 1813, I assume in Fayette Co., KY.
Three of the brothers fought in the Revolutionary War and have a plaque with
their names on it in a town hall in Fayette County, Kentucky
Now, can anyone help me with any part of this even if to disprove me? I
would so love some help. I have only found 2 or 3 people with this line on the
Internet. Thanks, Linda J Fleming

My grandmother was Madgie Christian, b. 1897 in Blossom TX to Charles Edward Christian. I find Charles and his brother, Sidney Anderson Christian and John Christian in the 1880 Johnson County TX census:
1880 Texas Census, Johnson County, stamped page 231, Dwelling/Household 41/41:
Herman Eldred, 36, Michigan
Sarah S. Eldred, 32, wife, Alabama (nothing for birth of father, mother born Alabama)
Sidney A. Christian, 13, step-son, Texas (father born Tennessee, mother born Alabama)
John F. Christian, 11, step-son, Texas (father born Tennessee, mother born Alabama)
Charley E., 8, step-son, Texas (father born Tennessee, mother born Alabama)
Charles Edward "Ed" Christian's death certificate says his father was Jim Christian. The informant's name for the death certificate is listed as Jim Christian; I don't know known if the informant Jim Christian is also Ed's father Jim Christian. If it is, he was still alive when Charles died in 1929. Charles' brother Sidney's death certificate lists Jim Christian as Sidney's father as well. Sidney named his second son James "Jimmy" Christian, which supports Sidney's father's name being Jim.
Other sources give Jim's place of birth as Tennessee, Texas or Alabama. His wife and the mother of his children, Sarah Senova Sisson, was definitely born in Alabama.
Jim is my brick wall. Does anyone know about him? Is there a clue in the name Sidney?
Thanks.
