I don't think so. I don't know who James Christian's parent were or any siblings. I am just now searching for the information to connect him with my family. Thank you for your response.

Megan - Anne Elizabeth Christian was my great-great-grandmother. Here is some information I gathered in the past...
Here is a smattering of information I have located on the Christians...
Encyclopedia of Virginia Biography, Volume V
(II) Lycurgus Anthony Lamb, son of John and Mary Emory (Moody) Lamb, was born in 1813 in Charles City county, Virginia, at Rural Shades, the old homestead of the Lambs. He was educated in the local schools of his native state; he was teacher, civil engineer, county surveyor, and magistrate under the old county court system in Charles City county, Virginia. In politics he was a Whig of the Henry Clay type. He married Ann Elizabeth Christian, daughter of James H. and Susan (Hill) Christian, of Charles City county, Virginia. She was a granddaughter of Lieutenant Joseph Christian, of Charles City; who served in the revolutionary war; a daughter of the Rev. James Hendricks Christian and Susan (Hill) Christian, of Charles City, Virginia, who had issue, namely: James H., Isaac H., Anne Elizabeth, of whom above; America; Susan Christian.
Here's some info on Anne Elizabeth Christian Lamb's father, who was James Hendricks Christian, son of Joseph Christian
Virginia Soldiers of 1776
Charles City Co., Va. 5 Sept., 1833. I, Robert W. Christian, clerk of aforesaid court, certify that James H. Christian, whose name is subscribed to the foregoing certificate of acknowledgment, is now and was at the time of signing, a Justice of the Peace of said county and state. Signed, Robert W. Christian, Clerk.

There is an important typographical error in my previous posting which needs to be corrected. Paulina A. Christian died in May 1891, not 1881 as shown.

A note from Sybil Mulder Deschaines a descendant of James Dyson Sasser and Nancy A. Christian, a daughter of James Thomas Posey (JTP) Christian.
Re- James T. P. Christian, my great-great grandfather.
JTP Christian was born 14 March 1815 in Georgia and died 18 July 1881 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. On August 1881 his son, James William Christian, was named Administrator of his Will which was dated 14 March 1881 (Tallapoosa Will Book 1, pages 157-165). James William Christian was a resident of Birmingham at the time. However, James William died in 1882 before completing the administration of JTP’s Will. Martha F. Christian, James William’s wife, advised the Probate Court of his death. A petition was filed: “ That the said Jas.W. Christian who was qualified to execute the will of the decedent has died leaving said estate partially unadministered.”...”That your petitioner being the widow...”...Paulina A. Christian”. Consequently, in December 1882 Paulina A. Christian, JTP’s widow, was named to complete the administration of the Will. These facts negate any possibilty of JTP having a second marriage to a !
woman named Ruth. The land (80 acres) on North Central Street in Alexander City where the Christian Cemetery is located was acquired by James T. P. Christian from Francis M. Walker on 27 October 1850. The 29 acres of this land containing the Christian Cemetery was subsequently bought by John Thomas Sasser, my maternal grandfather, from John R. Christian and Mary P. Christian on 20 October 1886 for two hundred dollars. I still own the acre of land located about one-quarter mile north of the Christian Cemetery where the Sasser homestead was situated and where my mother was raised .
Paulina A. Christian was born in Georgia and died in Beat 2, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, in May 1881 at age 69 years, 1 month, and 13 days. Where was Paulina’s obituary posted?
In the 1880 census the additional children listed in the JTP’s household are grandchildren, i.e., children of deceased family members. They did not show the correct surnames nor proper relationship. JTP's Will provides for these grandchildren. The following Christian children died between 1870 and 1880. Emily C. died 18 March 1872, Hezekiah died 8 October 1873, Harriet J. died 7 November 1876, Eliza C. died 5 July 1877, Susan G. died 16 September 1877, Sarah F. died 5 September 1878, and Zachary T. died 1 August 1879. All except Emily and Zachary were married at time of death.
Jay, I spend most of the year in Newnan GA and would be glad to go to Griffin, which is about 40 miles away from me and see if the library has any Christian Family Books, I am not farmiliar with a Historical or Geneological Library, but we do have one in Newnan and I would be glad to check for you, if you would like.
At the momment I am in Ohio visiting family and will not be in GA until 2nd week of August. Would you write me back again then and I will go and search for you.

Shelley,
Thanks for brining this wonderful photo album to our attention. I wish it
was my family my Matilda Christian although from Indiana stays elusive so
far.
Just an FYI bold, italic, underline are all HTML codes that do not come
through on the rootsweb lists but the informaiton comes through and that is
the important part.
Again thanks for sharing I hope you are able to get this book back to its
family. I am on a similar quest with stuff my parents found in their atic 20
or 30 years ago when they moved in to a new house (not Christian's though).

I am related to James and Jennie Hebert. My grandfather, Jesse, is one of their children. I have some information on their children and their spouses. I just found out what Jennie's last name was. Would you like to share info?

Billie,
I don't know much along the line of your question, but I did find this unsourced note in my files about Tabitha:
"The 1860 Dalton, Whitefield Co., GA census shows ECB Christian, 50, (still showing birth in SC), Tabitha, 48, T.R., 22, (listed as a printer) Edward, (James E. no doubt), 20, [edit notes indicate both Edward and Elam also are printers)Elam, 18, (no doubt just before he went away to learn printing business from AP Burr in Griffin, GA), John, 15, and Tabitha, 9 (I guess this is “anna” of the 1870 listing).
1870 Dalton, Whitefield Co., GA, census shows Elisha, 61, b. SC, Tabitha, 58, b. GA, and Anna, 19, b. GA (would jibe with Phoebe dying 1848.
The 1880 Dalton census shows ECB and Tabitha still living there. Lists ECB as an insurance (unreadable insert) agent. Still shows him born in SC, but lists him as 72 and Tabitha as 70?"
I descend from Elam Christian, Elisha's son, and I'm still trying to find out more info about Elisha....such as why he was referred to as "Capt."

Looking for info on parents of Capt. Elisha Clement Bennett Christian, b. 1807 in Culpeper Co. Courhtouse. All I know is 1810 census lists NO "Christians," so assume family moved out before then. Haven't been able to find 1800 or 1790 census. Believe his father was Thomas, but nothing to definitely indicate that.
Any help appreciated.

The following are abstracts of records of genealogical interest taken from the records of the Cherokee Indian Agency in Tennessee in the years 1801-1816.
Geo Christian & Nathan Ashwith having under their direction two large flat bottomed boats /the crews consisting of six white persons/ laden with salt & Iron have permission to pass to Smith Land at the mouth of Cumberland River. February 28, 1802
I am not related to this family, just passing on this information that comes from a webpage called "SETTLERS AND INTRUDERS ON CHEROKEE INDIAN LANDS 1801-1816." The link for the site is listed below.
