Nancy,
Which branch of the Christian family will be attending this reunion? My husband is descended from the Turner Christian branch.
I do not recognize Charles Christian -- my pedigree chart lists (from my
mother, born Marguarite Agnes Christian 4-9-08)) Adelbert Wallace Christian (b.
9-14-1879); Joseph Warren Christian (7-20-1845); David C. Christian (1828);
Joseph Christian (1784); Phil(l)ip Christian (1755).
If you have information on any of these Christian ancestors, I should
greatly appreciate it.
Incidentally, my mother's cousin, Jim Christian (son of Adelbert's brother
Earl), and his family still live in Payette, Idaho, or Ontario, Oregon (across
the Snake River). I have information on the Joseph Warren family (he and his
wife Mary were my great-grandparents, and I knew her for many years before her
death).
Thank you for your reply . . .

If so, I need to get my mailing list corrected, as I have your e-mail
addy as jsxian(a)highstream.net which does not go thru now.
I have a new CHRISTIAN cousin to introduce, and need to ask if I ever
forwarded the CHRISTIAN - GREENWOOD information, as I finally got it
mostly merged with my file.

Hello all,
My gt grandmother was Catherine Mary Slater nee Christian b.Rugby ,Warwickshire
1861 to Thomas b.Melton Mowbray
Leicestershire 1825 & Mary nee. Kavanagh b. Gorey,Co. Wexford, Ireland.
Thomas worked with horses so moved around an awful lot. Conesquently, apart
from my own line, I have so far had to rely on contacting descendents of
the other children simply to identify them! You might also ask how I know
how many children there were; well, a cousin with the common ancestry of
Thomas & Mary nee Kavanagh miraculously came up with a family photo c1862
. This. plus my Christian family info you can consult by visiting my Family
Tree Maker website at:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/s/l/a/Martin-F-Slater/
So, is there anybody out there that has a piece to my puzzle??

I’m looking for any information on any family of George Nelson Christian. He was born in 1955 in Clinton, Oklahoma and died in 1982 as a result of an incompetent hospital in Chickasha, Oklahoma. I am his oldest son. None of his family cared to keep in touch with me or my brother, but we're looking for information on them. I was 9 when he was killed and my brother was 5, so we don’t have much information about our father's family or where they are now. We're trying to piece together who our father was and the people who made him that way. Please email me at chrischristian7(a)yahoo.com with any information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Chris

My grandfather went by the name of Parker. He was married to Ina (Williams?). They had four children, Elvis Lodell Christian, Leon Christian, Delois Christian, and Brenda Christian. I have been told very little over the years about this side of the family. One bit of info is that the family may have come out of Dyer County, TN. Another bit is that my great grandmother was named Clementine and that she was fullblooded native american. Not sure of the bloodline/nation for her. I also remember a Grandpa Williams and that is where I am getting Ina's last name from. I am just starting out on this adventure and have very little to go on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
