Estelle,
You found a descendant.
I use the Carroll (KY) County Public Library's computer. I don't have records with me so I can't even tell you which side of the family I descend from. It is my father's side I know for sure. When I get home I'll go through my records and draft up a note to let you know just how do descend.
I also know I have very little info on John Christian and Elizabeth Stockton. I didn't know he/she/they were in KY. Where did you get that info from?

Barbara, While I cannot directly help you with your Edward, I must tell you
this. My Christians were in several counties in Virginia including Hanover
and New Kent, went to Fayette County Kentucky around Lexington, and then I
know my Fraziers of which Elizabeth Christian Frazier was one of them went to
Fayette County Indiana around Connersville. I do know several related
families of Christians and Fraziers went together to Kentucky. It might help
if you look in these areas. Linda
Linda,
I forgot to add that THOMAS JEFFERSON CHRISTIAN was
born and died in Hawkins County, TN.

Hi Linda,
Charles Christian seems to be a very common name.
The only one that I can find in your time period was:
CHARLES CHRISTIAN b. 1744 in Goochland Co. VA d. 1813
in Amherst Co., VA, m. SARAH DUKE in 1769.
No record of any children.

I have found a Charles Christian living in Hanover County Virginia in 1812.
He was a member of St Paul's Parish and had to pay taxes that year. I have
also found Elinder Christian, a member of St Paul's Parish who had to pay
taxes in Hanover County in 1800-1802 with a person named Elinor and in 1803
where it says 1 adult. Does anyone have knowledge of these people? Thanks,

I recently posted a query r/t R.W. Christian. I have since found him as Robt. W. Christian (age 30) in the 1870 Richmond Henrico Co census. So now at least I have a first name if that would help in my query. I am looking for his parents.
Hi Kathleen, yes, we have spoken before. Sorry it has taken me so long to get
back about the three brothers who served in the Rev War. They are Andrew,
John, and William. You can see info on
rootsweb.com/~kyfayett/pensions.htm
I don't remember where I saw it but I am pretty sure Andrew was a substitute
for William. I still cannot get hold of Rit Christian in Texas. I believe he
has the most knowledge about Andrew. Hope all is well. Linda
