Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
First saw this sometime last year. It is pretty neat.

Since the board is slow thought I would repost. I am searching for
verification on the parents of James L. Christian. They are believed to be
John and Anna. James (Lewis) resided in Walker and Tuscaloosa Cty, AL around
1850. Married to Elizabeth Garrison. They had 3 girls; Margit, Mary Francis,
and Amy Clarentine. Does anyone have information about this family?

DEAR ALL
I am particularly keen to hear from people whose ancestors came from Melton
Mowbray, Leicestershire UK.
My g-g-g-grandfather was Thomas Christian (master baker) born 1785 Melton
Mowbray possibly to Thomas & Mary.
Thanks
DEB
DEAR ALL
I am trying to trace what happened to my g-g-uncle Alfred. According to
family legend he got into a spot of bother here in the UK and began a new
life in the US. The only clue we have to where he ended up is a photograph
that was taken of him in Milwaukee.
He was born in Shepherds Bush, West London in 1880 to George and Sarah
Christian.
Any info much appreciated!
DEB
Am passing this along in case anyone is interested in checking for an
ancestor.

Looking for information on Matilda Christian I have been told she was born
July 10, 1850 in either VA or W. VA (I have two of her childrens birth
certificates that say Indiana though). She I am told she died about 1908 at
New Haven, IL (Little Wabash River) the problem with the date is my
grandfather (her grandson) said she died before her husband and he died about
1901/2.
I know for sure that she married Wililam R. MULL. They had the following
children all born in the Evansville IN area:
Mary Mull B. Abt. 1873
Thomas Lee Mull B. Bef. 1879

Pearl Mul B. Aft. 1880
Annie D. Mull B. Aft. 1880
Charles Louis Mull B. Aft. 1880
Infant child B. Aft. 1880
Female Mull B. June 11, 1887
Male Mull B. February 19, 1890
Hello everyone,
I have a Form SS-5 for John Lester Christian, Jr., born April 1, 1908
in Cleburne, Johnson County, TX. I obtained this by mistake. If someone is
related, and would like to have it, I'll be glad to mail it to you.
