I am looking for any relatives of Aurora Christian. The last known address I found in my mothers address book was in West Mifflin, PA. My mother was her neice. She had a sister Anna Marie, married Bruce Miner and then John Garella. They lived in Connellsville, PA.. My mother has passed away and I need to find more information about the past and any help I might get would greatly be appreciated. Aurora may have married a brother, this I am not certain. The family I still have in Pa. is not much help in any of this search.Thanking you in advance for any info.

Linda:
My line comes thru Joseph and Sallie's daughter,
Elizabeth Christian who married Emanuel Cox.
I have the Christian Chronicles, too. I was
just "fishing" for information on his marriage to Jane
Ramey. I have a picture of Elizabeth Christian with her
sister (would have to be a step-sister, or a sister-in-
law, as I have no "full" sister for her.
I will keep your Lewis Jefferson Christian in mind.
Thanks for responding.

Audrey,
this sounds like the Joseph who is the son of Allen who is the son of Lewis
Christian of Hawkins Co., TN. There is all kinds of info on the web on Lewis
and wife Peggy Felkner. Me and my group have been looking at this family for
some time trying to tie in our Lewis Jefferson Christian, b 1811 in TN, met
his wife (Lavina Frazier) in Monroe Co., TN and they married in Indiana. They
both died in Missouri, Gentry Co.
I will try to see what I have saved on Lewis and family and the little info
we have on Joseph. In a nut shell it says that he was the youngest of Allen's
kids and that he returned to Hawkins Co. to live and that he married a Sallie
Christian. This was in the Christian Family Chronicals. I'll see what else I
can find after Christmas. Merry Christmas to you and all of you researchers.

Joseph U. Christian married as his 2nd wife, Jane Ramey
in about 1868. He was born about 1824 in Monroe County,
Tennessee and she was born about 1847 in Virginia.

Merry Christmas, everybody!
Anybody know of a Lucy Christian who married a John Bandy, who lived from
1760 to 1818? One of their children was a George Bandy, born 1796 in
Virginia, who married Celia Sanders from Tennessee.
I have no life-dates or locations for this Lucy Christian other than what
may be inferred from the above.
Anybody with even a tiny clue?
Thanks in advance,
Steve Winget

Dear David,
I'm going to try and make this as simple as possible but if I fail, please forgive me.
I noticed on one of your other posts that you have a Jesse Dillon in your line. He would be from the Franklin Co Va Dillon's Married Rebecca Plybon. My great Robert Starkey moved from Bedford Co Va with his parents to Greenup Co Ky. He is related to the Dillons and Plybons. He moved his family to Lawrence Co Ohio while he served in the Civil War in West Va. for the Union, which I found odd since he was from Va. I often thought he must have had family in Lawrence Co Ohio that he entrusted his family to. Anyway he had a daughter Liza Starkey that married a William Fremont 1890. William Fremont's sister Julia Alice Fremont married David Christian in Lawrence Co Ohio in about 1884. Anyway William and Liza Starkey Fremont had a daughter Mary Fremont that married a John Christian, and they had a son John Christian b 1921. This is all happening in Lawrence Co Ohio.
Just on the off chance you have heard of these elusive relatives of mine could you please help me.
Anything would be of help, because after five years I am no closer than what is here.
Thanks in advance
Rebekka
