I have the following from The Genealogies of Virginia Families, Vol. 1:
"2, THOMAS2 CHRISTIAN'S will was proved in Goochiand county in 1736. He
married Rebecca ____ (perhaps the daughter of Drury Stith, near whom, in
Charles City, Thomas Christian patented 1320 acres on Dec. 16, 1714), and
had issue: 6, Thomas; 7, Robert, 8, William of Albemarle county, living in
1756; 9, Jarnes; 10, Constant, 11, Rebecca; 12, Ann; 13, Mourning, who m.
____ Coleman. Mentions grandson Thomas."
Does that sound like your line? If so, I have a good bit more from the same
quote.
Jay Rogers in San Antonio, TX
Jay: My line also comes through the grandson Thomas (son of Thomas, son
of Thomas), through his son Lewis Christian. I would also be interested
in additional information from "The Genealogies of Virginia Families,
V1.
Does anyone have a complete copy of the will proved in Goochland County
in 1736 that they would be willing to share?
Thanks.

I am searching for information on two marriages that are listed in Elbert County Georgia records.
Jeremiah T. Horton married Ann P Christian in 1837 and Jesse Horton married Keziah Christian in 1844.
Can any one help me identify these families? Or do you have them in your line?
Thanks for your time and assistance.

I am searching for information on Drury Christian of either Goodchland Co,
or Stafford Co., Va. His father was James Christian, who I think was a son
of Thomas Christian. His mother, well, according to what I see on genforum
queries, was either Ann Macon (who seems to have been married to someone
else and had 12 children in that marriage) or a sister? cousin? Amy Macon.
I understand that in Genealogies of Va. Families, his parents are listed as
Robert and Lucy Bradley Christian but that this has been disproved.
I would like to be able to find documentation on this ancestor. His
daughter Mary m. Wm. Balthrop and their d. Elizabeth is my line. I am
having difficulty finding documented information on Drury Christian.
I also don't have anything on his wife except her name:Lucretza "Lucy"
Williams.
I would appreciate any help on this line. There were several Drury
Christian's living in the same time period and I have confused some of the
information
Thanks,
E. A. Sloan
