I came across a notation on a marriage between James L. Christian and
Elizabeth Garrison in 1851 in Tuscaloosa County, AL. Does anyone know of this
line? I am wondering if James L. could possibly be my Lewis. Dates, places,
and first name of wife fit perfectly. If anyone knows of the James L.
Christian line, please let me know. Thanks
Gloria

I am looking for 4 brothers who were in the Civil War for the South. I am
told that all 4 were killed during the war. I know nothing else except that
they had a sister (or possibley a neice, but grandpa thinks sister) named
Matilda Chrisitan b. 10 July, 1850, VA or W. VA? (not sure where the date
came from but it matches with age of husband and children). I am not sure
where they enlisted could be VA or Matildia lived in Indiana when she had her
family could be KY. Anyone out there know this group?
Thanks, Liesa
