Linda,
I didn't find any Christian names at all on the referenced page, wandered to
the Frazier page, etc., thinking that I was probably missing the point
somehow, but never did find anything.

Do you have Cora's death certificate? Unless she took back her first married
name
it should be on the certificate. Ditto for a newspaper obit . If you know the
marriage date in 1918 and it was "within days" it should also be in the
papers. How about the marriage records at the county seat . 1918 it was
required to licence so it should be a legal record there. Is there a Christian
buried in the cemetery where she is? I think there'll be something findable
for you.

One last shot before I unsubscribe and regroup.
My ggrandmother, Cora Marina Barger, married Joe Warren in 1890. They had
five children and Joe died in 1907.
The 'family story' is (and you all know how true they are!) that Cora said she
would not marry until her last child was married (or raised, I don't remember
which). Her last child married in 1918. The 'family story' is that she
married within days, to Mr. Christian.
Mr. Christian preceeded Cora in death. She died in 1958. She is buried next
to Joe Warren in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Gibson Co., TN. I do not know the
name on her tombstone.
Mr. Christian was well thought of in Cora's family. Hence, the term of
respect, "Mister," rather than his given name. No one still living knows him
by any name other than "Mr. Christian."
Does anyone know Mr. Christian? He was certainly a part of our family, but
will be forgotten if we don't find him soon.

I am descended from Lucy Jane CHRISTIAN, daughter of
Sarah MAXWELL and William Payne CHRISTIAN (see

on the collateral lines.
Can anyone tell me if it is true that the parents of both
Agatha HENRY and Benson HENRY (see below) were
really William HENRY and Thomasin BENSON? If so,
does anyone know the ancestry of this couple?
