Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

looking for information on John and Augusta Christenson, they came to America in 1881. They first lived in Marshall county Minnesota, moved to Berthoud Colorado in 1906. John died in 1927 when his truck was hit by a passenger train in Berthoud. Anyone with information on this family would be apprecated.

Genevieve Abney Christenson, “Jinks” passed away in San Antonio, Texas, on May 13, 2004, at the age of 86.
She was born in Brownwood, Texas on August 24, 1917, to Frederick and Clara Brian Abney.
Jinks was very active in several Methodist churches throughout her life, she was also a member of the DAR, and was involved in numerous local charity groups.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Trace S. Christenson, Jr.
Jinks is survived by her son, Trace Christenson; her daughter and son-in-law, Cile and Mark Nabers; four grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Jeffrey, and Jessica; and a nephew, Eugene Dunphy.
She wished to be cremated in San Antonio, and her remains will be buried at the Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood,TX
