Your Christensen family sounds different than mine. The one I am looking for was headed by Rasmus Christensen who was naturalized in 1886. I do not know the name of his wife. They had two daughters, one named Inger. They lived in Freeborn Co., MN.

I am researching the Christenson family who immigrated, as I have been told, from Denmark around 1880. I am told that Wilhelm Christenson and his wife Christine, don't know her maiden name, lived in Grow, MN. This is according to the census from 1900. They had a son named Christ, I believe, but he was born in 1886 in MN. I find it interesting that both mothers names were Christine but feel that it is probably only coincedence.
This probably doesn't help but I thought I would respond anyway. Good luck on your search.
