Once again I come across my stack of papers re Dr. Estella (Clark) who md. Dr. Francis E. Carpenter, and the letter dated 1925 to Estella from the Pension Bureau in response to her letter. I do not have a copy of the letter written by Estella but she had inquired about a Rev. War Pension for (my) Joseph Grover... To this day I have not, despite extensive research and information from others, been able to establish a connection between Estella Clark Carpenter and Joseph Grover;- it has been a few years since I last posted queries, so thought it might be time to try again. I have a lot of information on the ancestry of Estella, including her Godfrey and Stilphen ancestors, but just do not find a connection to Grover - can anyone tell me this time around what it is? Estella and Francis Carpenter had a daughter Eunice who md. Oliver F. Christenson; I found them on 1930 census in Chicago and have info from them from SSDI; both whom were born in 1904. Any children after !
the 1930 census? Any Grover connections found?

Hi,
i think the Bernard Rockness that you are looking for is or was my grandfather. His parents were from Norway & Sweden. His daughter, my mom, grew up in Edmonds, Washington. Could this be the same Bernard ?
