I have had lots of luck with the following web-site:
http://danishgenealogy.homestead.com/danishgenealogy.html
Another great resource is to join the Danish Mailing List. Just go to www.rootsweb.com and click on Mailing Lists and find the Denmark List and join. I find joining the digest mode the best because you can then look at all the messages and learn a lot about Danish research and Denmark.
I am listing my Danish surnames in the Surname Block.

You need to know when she emigrated and her birthdate and where in Denmark she was from.
Try to find their marriage record, it might give you a clue or maybe in the death record.
Also try to look for american census records, they can also give valuable info.
When you have that then it might be easier to track any info from Denmark.
In the Ellis Island there is a person emigrating in 1904, but before you have found the above info, there is no way to know if this is the right person.
