Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I am reserching decendants of my great grandfather Lars (Laurence) Peter Christenen born in St. Hans parish, Hjørring County Denmark 09 Jan 1855, son of Christian Christensen and Mary (Nelson) Christensen. My grandfather married Karen Marie Sørensen on 14 Oct 1877. She was born on 01 Feb 1852, same parish. Daughter of Søren Christian Holgersen b: 20 Jun 1820 and Johanne Marie Nielsdatter
My great grandfather arrived in Baltimore aboard the ship Liepzig on 15 May 1882, followed by my great grandmother who arrived 29 Jan 1883 aboard the steamship America.
My great grandparents had 8 children two born in Denmark and the rest born in Iowa.
