Hi,
I went to Stanton which is the county seat for Greenville and found Christina's death certificate. It said she was born in Gowen, Michigan on Jan.23, 1858 and died on Jan 30, 1947. She was 89 years old and 7 days. it said her father was Niels Christenian he was born in Denmark. It did not mentiion her mother's name. That is all the info I got from the death certificate. Does any of this sound like a relative?

Hi,
I don't know much about Christina except she was born in Michigan in Jan. 1858 and she married a Hans Christian Hansen in 1882 and the had the two girls I mentioned. The one Iva married a Dietz and got a divorce. The other named Matie married a Gardella and he died in 1958. Matie owned a millinery shop in Greenville. They lived at 200 Washington in Greenville. I looked on the census for Christina and couldn't find anything. It didn't have access to the 1860 census, but I couldn't find anything in the 1870 and 1880 census. What I am going to do Tuesday is go to the Stanton Clerk and see if I can find her death certificate. She died in 1946 and that shouldn't be to hard to trace. i do know that she went by he name of Tina. I will get back with what i find.

I hope you have a little more info where we can make a connection and help each other out.
