O.K. I went to the library yesterday in Dallas Texas trying to locate more info on my great great, JOHN CHRISTALL b.1830 "England" and died in Texas after 1880. I didn't find anything additional on him but was able to locate some other rather interesting tidbits.
There was a J.A.Christall at 709 S. Comal St in San Antonio Texas in 1894.
(MY John Christall was in San Antonio in 1870 and later in Bandera Texas in 1880)
There was a John C. Chrystall working for Houston City Street as a conductor 1894 & 1895.
There was a George Christall and a James Christall in Morristown New Jersey in 1887 & 1888.
Tons of Scottish Christall's!
William Chrystall was in the USA, son of Dr. Wm. Chrystal, Rector of Glasgow Grammar School. William Chrystall (Jr) educated at Glasgow University 1814, and came to the USA, died in Missouri in 1858.
anyone out there with information on the Christall's of southern USA be sure to post! I'm always looking for relatives. Bobby & Nadine Christall
