Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Hello Debbie, I too am researching the Christ name. I have my gr grandmother (Caroline Christ b. 1853) born in Elpenrod Hessen. Her parents were George Christ and Whilhamina Bernhardt. Have you been able to find any more information since you made this post?

Kenneth E. Crist Sr., 78, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Pickering House after a long period of sickness.
He was born on May 7, 1934 to the late Floyd and Louvine Crist.
Kenneth retired from Anchor Hocking Glass in 1980.
He was a member of AMVETS and a life member of Lancaster, Ohio Eagles.
Kenneth enjoyed playing cards with his buddies.
He leaves behind his caring wife of 13 years Maxine (Rose) Crist; sons Kenneth (April) Crist Jr. and Dirk Crist; son-in-law Virgil Lacy; sister Wanda Ayers; several step-sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by daughters Trudy Crist, Karen Reed and Sharon Lacy; sisters Norma Jean, Helen, Eleanor, Margaret and Dottie; brother Floyd Crist.
The family would like to thank FairHoPe Hospice for the care they gave to Kenneth. No services will be observed. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Contributions may be given to FairHoPe Hospice in memory of Kenneth.
