Manfred,
I am researching Peter Christ, born 1 Mar 1824 in Germany. On the U. S. Census, Peter states his place of origin as Bavaria. However, I have also seen mention of Hessen in regard to the Christ name. Could you possibly help me in regard to the Christ name? Thank you.
Debbie Christ

I am pleased to hear from you. I have been wanting to find out more about my Ggrandfather George's siblings. If I'm right, I believe we are third cousins.
I've located Adolph's grave and the group of graves around Wilhelmina's at St. Matthew's. My Ggrandfather's grave is there. I would love to see photos. Is Frederick and Sophia Vesper buried there? I would like to hear more about your family line. You can e-mail me directly at cynthia.christ(a)gmail.com
Thanks, Cynthia

Hi,
I don't know anything more about Adolph's siblings or parents. Adolph's daughters name is actually Adeline not Adelheid, it was a misspelling in the census. Adeline married William Kohl. They are my great grandparents. The Christ's, Kohl's and Vesper's are buried in St. Matthews cemetery on Clinton and French in West Seneca. I have some photos if you would like them.
