Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I have Levi Christ on our tree. He was Civil War Vet. Oringinally from Greenwood Warren County Pa. the family name has varients, Christ, Chryst, Crist.
My mother in Law was Chryst.

BUT I DON'T KNOW OF AN AUTHER CHRIST.
OUR FAMILY WAS IN WISCONSIN AND WASHINGTON.
SOME OF THE NAMES ARE ALIKE. OUR WIHELMINA WAS CALLED LENA. MARIE WAS BERTHA MARIE AND MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER NAME AND THE LAST WAS IDA. THERE WAS A JOHN BUT HE DIED AT A VERY YOUNG AGE IN NEW YORK. KEEP IN TOUCH THO AND LET ME KNOW HOW OLD AUTHER IS.

Susan, Your husband is definitely related to my husband, whose grandfather was Charles Christ, born in August 23,1865. Charles' sister was the woman you mentioned - Magdalena (Lena) born in 1867. Other siblings were Wilhelmina (1859), Marie (1860), John (1863), Clara (1870 - not sure of this), August (1870), and Augusta (Sept 10, 1872). My husband and I found most of this information when we drove to Buffalo - where several of the siblings were born - last year. I would love to "meet" you and exchange information about our respective branches of the Christ family tree.
I also know the parents of Steve, the person who originated this chain of emails. They live not too far from us, and we've had dinner together and been to their house.
