Do you have a person in your family lineage by the name of Lydia Christ? I believe her parents were Henry Christ and Elizabeth Pentecost Christ. I'm haveing a hard time finding anything. Anything will be appreciated. Thanks

Eleanor and Anton Paldauf are my grandparents. When the stock market crashed in 1929, Anton losed his job as a mason in Chicago. They owned several homes but the tenants could not pay. They losed everything as the bank foreclosed. Things got worse and they divorced. Their only daughter, my mother, went to an orphange home for six months. Then, my grandfather sent her to Waterbury, CT to live with her Aunt Margaret until my mother's marriage in 1952 to my father, Anthony. Eleanor died in a convalescent home in Bristol, CT in the 60's. Anton died in a convalescent home in Massachusetts in the 60's. They are both buried in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury, CT.
