I have information from a cousin in Texas that Joseph Martain Christ immigrated from Switzerland in 1855 at the age of 14.
No other info. I have asked a Christ researcher to see if he can locate his immigration but have no other new information.
Have you filled in any of the blanks since we last sent messages?

What is the Christ name you are researching? Where did they live in America? My Christ family was from the Lancaster, Lebanon, Berks area of Pennsylvania around 1770 but I don't know where they came from.

Searching for town of birth and family info for Peter CHRIST, born 1 March 1824 in Bavaria, Germany.
Peter lived in Kimmswick, Jefferson County, Missouri at the time of his death in 1899. There is a possibility that he had a brother named Michael, born circa 1832, who also lived in Jefferson County.
Thank you in advance for any help.
