Is anyone on the Crisman or Chrisman mailing lists researching J. Adam Crissman, son of J.George Crissman "the Saddler"?
J. Adam Crisman/Crissman left the Trappe area of Montgomery Co., PA, between 1786-1790 and moved his wife and children to Dauphin Co-Lancaster Co., PA. The Adam Crissman family lived there about 10 years and by 1798 moved to settle near the Armagh-Siglerville area of Mifflin Co., PA. Adam Crissman died in 1837 there, but his children and their descendants continued to live in Mifflin Co., PA, through the 1800s.
Would like to make contact with others who are researching the Crisman/Crissman families who lived in Mifflin Co., PA. My husband descends from Adam Crissman's son John Crissman b. 1791 who married Elizabeth Rothrock c. 1816.
