Hi, I am new to this list, and I have only vague info. Researching the
following Christmans. William b c 1817 married to Elizabeth. Aaron and
Francis s/o William. Asher, Burlington. Francis b c 1848 d 1895.
I know that Francis and Burlington are buried in McKean Co. Pa. All these
Christmans supposedly born in Monroe Co. Pa. My father in law who is now
deceased grew up in the childrens home in Bradford. McKean co Pa, all he
knew about his family was that his fathers name was Earl and mother
Gertrude, grandfather Francis and grandmother Carrie. Francis lived in
Kushequa till his death. I believe that William, Aaron, Asher, Burlington
may be his family. Any leds appreciated.
Thanks
Connie Christman
I am new to this list. My Chrisman line is through George Chrisman who
married Elizabeth Hagler circa 1788. They lived in the section of
Mecklenburg County, NC in 1790 that is now Cabarrus County. In 1800 they
were living in Lancaster District, SC, in 1810 and 1820 in Christian County,
KY and in 1830 through 1850 in Morgan (later Scott) County, IL. George
Chrisman's parents were Michael, Sr and Elizabeth, and George had a brother,
Michael, Jr. George and Elizabeth had several children, one of whom, David,
is my direct relative. I would like to exchange information with anyone
researching this family. Much of the data I have on this family is posted
on my web page. Point your browser to:

Hi -
I've recently subscribed to this surname list, but so far no activity....
Is there anyone else on this list? If so, who are we looking for?!
Just for starters - I'm interested in CRISMAN/CHRISMAN/CRISSMAN from
Chester Co., PA in the early 1800s.
