Those wishing to read about the immigration of French Canadians to the United States or about Franco-American history in general should go to
http://www2.marianopolis.edu/quebechistory/
At the site, under the heading of Franco-American history, you will find four sections. The first, entitled Studies in Franco-American History, offers an extensive analysis of the participation of Franco-Americans to the Civil War, a history of the immigration of French Canadians to the United States, a database of names of Franco- Americans who participated to the Civil War, texts on the Sentinelle and Flint Affairs and many more. The Second part currently offers 16 documents of Franco-American history. A third section has Resources for the Study of Franco-Americans which provide over 100 links to serious sites to study Franco-American life. A last part links to major Franco-American Associations and organizations.
