You will find it spelled Trimble, Tremmell - Tremel -
(this is my line.)
J R Trimble was shot and killed by his son-in-law George G Pinson (but J R
started it)
George G Pinson and Sinia Eveline Trimble married and were parents of my

There are many colorful stories about this family

Subject: [CHOATE] Jane Elizabeth Choate
Hi List,
I have been working on updating my tree on Ancestry.com and ran into information
that Jane Elizabeth Choate married John R "JR" Trimble but I never found them
listed with this spelling.
So I am wondering if it is truly Trimble or Trimmel (and other spellings) as I
have found them on most of the census records.

It's Trimble. The misspellings are mainly due to the census takers and
transcribers, among others. If you contact me personally, I can give
you a little more information.
