Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Roy,
I have no more information than I gave. I do know a lot of Choates came
from TN to KY. They are on the censes around Christian and Trigg Counties.
If you have not checked there it might help you.
Dodie

I have developed a MySpace account where all of us can share our Choate Family Photos. Many of you have sent photos to me, these are on the site now. Should you decide you would like to take part in this photo sharing please e-mail any Choate related photo to me at Choatephotos(a)cableone.net . Please be sure to label the photos (either on the photo or in the body of the e mail) with as much information as you can such as names , dates, locations, events. I will attach your contact information to your photos if you request so. To gain access to this MySpace enter Choate1910 in the Find your friends on MySpace box and send me a friend request. My grandparents were Lon and Grace, I have labeled my photos with information from my childhood memory, should anyone be able to prove names or dates to be different please let me know. HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON, JUDY

I am looking for a William Choate probably born in TN, then moved to KY.
He married Emeline Mize born in NC.
He probably died in KY but not sure. This would have been in the 1800s. He had a daughter in 1865, maybe more children but I don't know.
