Hi all,
I haven't posted this for awhile, think I'll try again. I'm looking for
Emily Elberta Choate/Choat born 1865 in TN. She was living in Trigg Co,
KY in 1885. She was Native American but passed as white. That is all I
know about her before she married my grandfather. I will be very
thankful for any help.

Dickson County TN
Mount Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery
Located in the church yard. Church on Hwy 48 between Dickson and
Charlotte. In 1810, one quarter of a mile northeast of the present
location resides the original Smyrna Methodist Church which was built of
logs. This was the first Methodist Church in Dickson County. The lob
building church was rebuilt due to a fire in 1850 which served as the
church home until the present church was erected in 1913.

Louisiana Soldiers in the War of 1812
Publication of this alphabetical listing of soldiers who served in Louisiana units during the War of 1812
fills an obvious need. Although similar lists have been published for a number of other states, the search
for data on Louisiana soldiers has heretofore had to be conducted by directing inquiries to one or several
Washington agencies, or by the tedious process of scanning copies of the original listings reproduced on
microfilm.
