Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
If anybody has any additions or changes they want made on the Chitwoods
please let me know and I will fix them. I know there are probably errors in
it and I did prove it. This is things that was sent to me. As one lady put it
after Christmas will be fine. I am just excited to get it out on the
Internet. I guess I figure this is the easiest way to get it out without
doing a lot more work.

Lynda - I'm forwarding your comments in case someone has Doris' email -
I don't seem to have it.
Haven't found anything lately - I've been fighting with my computer -
first it crashed - the the mouse is giving me fits and now it has
decided to shut itself off if I haven't used it for awhile - it still
insists on "waking up" every time the phone rings even though I keep
disabling it. I think it plans on taking over our household.
Would love a copy of what you found whenever you get a chance.
Christmas tree up today - have a great holiday. Thinking of you.
Hello Julie
How's it going? I've just come back from a day in the Harris Library in
Preston where I checked Births and Marriages and copied some pages
from the Buckinghamshire volume of the Victoria History of English
Counties. Nothing very startling but it all helps to build up a
picture. It did
confirm that the Chetwodes had been in Oakley (and not Buckinghamshire)
for several centuries though.
Sue came across a Chetwode listing on GENUKI, about Worleston, from a
Doris Gustafson of the USA. She wrote at once but has had no
reply. We wondered if you might have heard of this person? If you
have a contact e-mail address, perhaps you'd let me know. It is a great
big
missing piece - all the known Chetwoods seem to track back to Roger
Chetwode of Worleston - and nothing before that. Hope you can help.
Love
