Hi
Anyone out there got the name Chitty in their family tree who came from Wolverhampton? I would love to see if we share the same ancestors.
John Richard Chitty (born 1843) came originally from Enfield, Edmonton and was the son of William and Sarah Chitty. The name is sometimes spelt with an 'e' in it. John Richard had several children who in turn had several children.... My grandmother Alice Gertrude Chitty was his granddaughter from his eldest son, Ernest Edward.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Marie
