I'm confused? Who is Benard Sarah? Are you related to Benjamin Chitty and Nancy Ware children? If you are, what child is your ancestor? There is a lot of information on this family.

Steve,
I have seen the name Hicks, saying he married sisters or cousins; Also that
he
married Lydia Chitty.
One of Henry K(inlock)'s sons, James Lafayette, settled in Holmes Co, Fl. He
is my husband's greatgrandfather. Henry K. left family in Barnwell Co, S.C .
If
you will contact me directly, I will be happy to share info. I didn't know
about
Baker Co, Ga. Perhaps you can fill in some blanks for me as well.

I am seeking information on gggggrandfather Henry K. Chitty born in Georgia and later migrated to Henry County Alabama. I have found Henry K. Chitty in the 1830 census of Baker County, Georgia.
Baker County Georgia 1830 Census:
Henry K. Chitty: 1m (20-30), 3f (-5), 11f (5-10), 1f (15-20), 1f (20-30)
Henry K. Chitty was born 02 Jul 1800 and died 03 Oct 1866.
He married Nancy (Pelham) Chitty
Born: 10 May 1802 Died: 26 Oct 1889
Their daughter was my ggggrandmother Lydia P. (Chitty) Hicks/Hix. Lydia Chitty Hicks --- Born: 14 Jun 1832 Died: 07 Sep 1913.
She was the second wife of my ggggrandfather William Hicks/Hix. William Hicks/Hix is found married to 45 year old Martha in the 1850 census of Henry County Alabama. Martha also mothered his first set of children. Lydia mothered his second set.
William Hicks/Hix migrated from NC>GA>AL.
William Hicks/Hix fought in the early Indian Wars --- Perhaps this is where he connected with the CHITTYS who lived in Baker County, Georgia, the site of many bloody battles during the 1830s. I amstill researching this and have yet to document William in Georgia.
William Hicks/Hix was Born: 26 Mar 1805 and Died: 19 Feb 1887.
All family members listed above are buried in the old Friendship Primitive Baptist Church cemetery near Ashford, Alabama in Houston County.
Any information or research assitance would be greatly appreciated,
Steve Smith
