I would like to know if anyone has any info about James A Chitty in 1850 Hatchet Creek dist Coosa co.Alabama image 7of 80.The census list him as 27 b.S.C. he is living in family of James Holley.I found him on census index as James A. Chitty after blowing up image the A looks like the M in gender for Male.I was looking for my brick wall search on James M.(martin)Chitty.The first records I find on my gg gpa James M.is marriage to Martha L.Page 1853 Texas. The 1860 Tx.census says 37 yrs old b.S.C.which would make him the same age as the James A. in Alabama in 1850.I would be grateful for any help on this mystery on my family.Bob Chitty

Searching for any info re: Mary Chitty
Married to Oscar Samuel Pool (date???)
Son: Charles Arthur Pool born March 1903, Texas; birth certificate reports his mother (Mary) was born in Texas and was 28 at time of his birth
I know that Mary died when Charles was young and that her husband remarried in 1906.
Does anyone have any info on Native American heritage in the Chitty family?
