Have you all checked the chittick.com site? An amazing amount of information there.
My ancestors are also from Ireland via Canada to Minnesota to California. I am descended from the middle of three brothers to survive the passage from Ireland - Thomas or Guy d. between 1891 and 1900 probably in Grey Co., Ontario. And from his son Francis Henry Chittick - b. 1862 in Ontario, d. 1935 in Duluth MN.

I have been out of the genealogy loop for a while, but the Chitticks on my husband's side are from Canada and Minnesota-- any connections?

I just rejoined Ancestry and saw your old query. How much have you learned? I am a Chittick descended from Archibald
b.1779 and buried in Geetingsville, Indiana 1855. There are at least a dozen other Chitticks there. Another descendent did a lot of research and visited the Chideock Manor in England. It was pronounced "Chittick." I have a lot more info if you're interested.

Do any of you have any information about a Chittock that married Josselyn Goodwin back in the 1400s in London, England? All I have is the last name for her.
