Surname: Chittick
-------------------------
Hi Cyn
From my research I have a list of all Chitticks who applied for poor relief
in Glasgow and all listed in the 1891 census. There were very few Chitticks
about and the only Henry I can find was born c.1870 in Linwood which does
not fit your information. However, some other family lines of mine come
from Cadder and neighbouring parishes and I have found a Chittick there.
A Francis Chitticks was listed as being born in Campsie parish (next to
Cadder). He was cited in the 1891 census as living in Govan and being either
38 or 58 years of age (I couldn't read that part) and was a boilerman.
He was married to Margaret Gray (37) from Kincardineshire and there was
1 child with them at the time-Alexander, 20, born in Govan.
This may be a sideways line more than anything but I would be happy to
do some more digging if it would help.
