Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
All I know is that it came from the Austin Statesman.

(05/06/2002)Minnie Ree Baccus Minnie Ree Baccus, born to Newton and Mary
Chism, in 1910 in Aspermont, Texas, died May 4, 2002, in her home in Austin,
Texas. She was a retired postmaster who lived in Washita County, Oklahoma,
most of her life, moving into The Summit of Westlake in Austin in 1992. She
is survived by ber daughter, Joy Alexander and husband Andrew, of Austin;
and her son, Carroll Alexander and wife Rita, of San Antonio; six
grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be at
Bethany Lutheran Church, 6215 Manchaca Road, Austin, at 11:00 a.m., May 6,
2002. Graveside services and burial will be at Lawnview Cemetery, Cordell,
Oklahoma, on Saturday, May 11, 2002, at 4:00 p.m. Friends who desire to make
a memorial contribution are encouraged to contribute to the Salvation Army,
500 E. 8th, Austin, Texas, or the charity of their choice. Arrangements with
Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, 443-1366.

James Chisholm
CHISHOLM, JAMES Aged 87, of Jackson, passed away on February 5, 2003 at
Vista Grande Villa. He was born August 28, 1915 in St. Andrews, Scotland,
the son of David and Annie Chisholm. Jim served in the Army during World War
II. He owned the Bonnie View Golf Course near Eaton Rapids for 25 years. His
father was the first pro at Arbor Hills Country Club in Jackson. He is
survived by sisters, Doris (Frank) Schultz and Laura (Leo) Judy; brother,
William (Rose Mary) Chisholm; stepdaughters, Sarah (Bruce) Copp and Jeannie
(David) Werkema; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Mary and sister, Mary Ankrom. According to
his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on
Friday, February 14, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Vista Grande Villa, 2251
Springport Road, Jackson with the Reverend Ed Ross officiating.

Robert Chisholm
Robert Chisholm, 71, died January 28, 2003 at his residence under hospice
care. A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, Mr., Chisholm was a life long
resident of Savannah. He was a retired longshoreman with Local 896.
Survivors: five daughters, Valerie Chisholm, Alethia Chisholm, Denise
Chisholm, Brenda Chisholm, and Kay Francis Morgan, all of Savannah; son,
Donovan Chisholm and two other sons, all of Savannah; 12 grandchildren and
one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. Sidney A.
