Went on a reunion with my husband this weekend of persons who have ties to an
old logging town that is no more that used to be located near Waldron, AR.
What is so odd is that I ran across a listing for a Chismville, AR while
reading a little a little on this town that used to be near Waldron, AR.
Does anyone know anything about this town that I suspect is also "gone" like
the one near Waldron, AR?
Nancy
This is my first posting to this list and I presume there is somebody out
there?
In the list archives I find a reference to the above (Aug 1999) and wonder
if anybody can provide further information on the "Roll of the Independent
Companie of the Manor of Livingston". The reference comes from the
"Documentary History of New York Vol 3".
My interest is in one of the men listed in the roll John CHISSIM who could
well be one of my wife's ancestors.
Any information or suggestions as to where I might find further information
would be appreciated.
