I found this search engine on another list that I'm
on. Place your surname and then genealogy after.
That will take out some of the unwanted junk.

Hello, again, I have hit a brick wall big time, and alot of people working on this same line are stuck right where I am at! But I am hopeing someone can change it?
We have a BenJamen Chisum on the 1850 Izard county , census, he was age 52 born 1798 birth place unkown?
His wife's name was Polly, she was age 47, place of birth North Carolina.
children were
William age 23, born ARk.
Benjamen age 22,
Minney age 19,
James age 17,
Elizabeth age 14
Thomas age 10,
Isham age 8
Henderson age 6,
Washington age 3
all of these children by the census were born in Ark.
One lady says that Benjamen Chisums father was Ben Chisum and his mother was a full blooded cherokee woman by the name of Springflower, she was the daughter of Chief Adam Dark?
also on the 1850 cenus was a Elisha Chisum age 29, born Ark.
his wife Mathela age 36, born Tn.
Polly age 9, born ark.
Benjamen age 5, born ark.
On the 1860 census there is another
William Chisum age 37, born Ark;
Mary age 21, born Tneessee,
Thomas 1 year old.
The a J.H. Chisum age 37, born Alabama,
Sarah age 23, born Tennessee
Benjamen age 3,
Jan9/12
Henderson age 14. all of their children were born ark. as well.
Does anyone out there know of these people, I too think they are of the Obediah Chisum line, but can't prove it, The J. H. Chisum line with the children of Benjamen, Henderson, are the same names of Benjamens children metioned above the names keep repeating themselves over and over.
Also the reason I keep thinking they are connected. I have been told that Obedian was in Alabama, living among the Cherokees, One of his children , William Chisum married a Mary Lewallen, and the Lewallen family are from Alabama as well, Jackson county.,
I don't mean to be a pain, I am desperatly trying to find out who this family belongs to.
I will gladly share the info I have on this line, thanks Vickie
