Hello Steven,
I came across your post while doing a search for "Meredith Darlington". You see my great grandfather was named Meredith Darlington Morris. I havent figured out why his middle name was Darlington as it sounds like something that would be a family name. You mention in your post, Meredith Darlington Brock Lamm. Have you found any connection to the family of Benjamin Brock and Sarah Sanderson?
Benjamin was born in Strafford Co., VA in 1758. I know nothing about Benjamin's siblings or parents. Maybe he had a sister who married Peter Lamb? Do you think this is likely? The Brocks, Benjamin and Sarah Sanderson, settled in Flushing Twp., Belmont Co., Ohio. They had 8 children all of whom were born in Virginia. Their sixth child George Sanderson Brock m. Catherine Carpenter and their daughter Mary Brock married my 3x great grandfather Joseph A. Morris. Joseph was the grandfather of my Meredith Darlington Morris, so perhaps there is a connection to your MD Brock Lamb? Let me know if this might be a possiblilty or if you have any information which might be able to help me out. Thank you -
Brenda

I don't have any more information about Eugene S. Chism, but I was wondering if you have any information about the unit he served in during World War II. Thank you.
