I believe that the Edgar you mention could be my husbands great grandfather. The info we have is for a Dwight/Dewitt Chism b. 1904 New Berlin IL. d. Feb. 1954 also New Berlin.
I have found the burial of Dwight in the Old Berlin cemetery with Edgar and Stella marked father and mother nearby.
Any information you have would be appreciated.
Thank you

I am looking for information on a George Washington Chism who I believe might be a grandson of your George W. Chism. My line goes:
George W. Chism, born 1860 in Georgia. I think his parents might be James & Ellender Chism. I think this James might be the son of your George Washington Chism. What do you think?
