She has information on this. From what she sent me the Wallings & Chisums coming down from John Walling and Anna Chisum do not have any descendents with names on the Dawes Rolls. But Sue and I are still searching. My mother sure looked Cherokee and I have a picture of Jesse Walling and Ann Chisholm Wheelock and they SURE LOOK INDIAN.
Let me know what you find out. And if you are from this line, please send me your genealogy. I am compiling names to add to a GED file to submit to ancestory.com World Tree. I would love to add yours.

Mary Catherine "Catherine" "Kitty" Johnson (born July 14, 1849 in Kentucky).
Mary Catherine was a sister to Martha J. Johnson mentioned above.

I don't have any information on the Meade Co. Ky. Chisms but would also
like to find out about them. My gggrandfather lived in Overton Co.,
Tenn., and it is possible that he was connected to Meade Co. Ky Chisms or
other Kentucky Chisms.

Dear List:
I am trying to find information on the descendants of David Chisholme's
slaves. My great great great grandmother was named Bridget, she belonged to
David Chisholme grandson of Adam the Jacobite. David moved form Virginia
around 1809/10, he relocated his plantation to Fishing Creek in Chester,
South Carolina. Bridget's children were Hanna and Ned, Ned is my great great
grandfather and he was born around 1814 in Chester, South Carolina. I have
the names of fifty-two slaves that were on an estate sale in 1834 in Chester.
The slaves had been passed on to Thomas Chisholme after the death of David
and then to their cousin Suprey Chisholm. I found Ned in Gainesville, Florida
in 1867 he had bought 681 acres of land from a William Colclough . He bought
the land for 30,000 lbs of sea Island cotton. There is a Ned Chisholm in
Louisa County who belonged to the Little River Baptist Church in 1870 he is
also an African American.
If anyone have any information on this family, I would appreciate any
help. I would like to hear from Chisholm's black and white from the Halifax
and Louisa counties and Goochland areas. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Antoinette Russell
