Hello,
I am searching for information on Gladys Chisholm, her parents names are
unknown at this time but in 1920 she was seven years old and lived with her
aunt Delia Brown nee Chisholm. Gladys and Delia lived on Laurel Street in
Tampa, Florida. I understand that she married and resided in Atlantic City,
NJ. I believe at this time Gladys is dead but she has sons in New York who
was caring for her cousin Edna Mae Thomas. If anyone is familiar with these
please email me. thank you in advance.

TITLE: The National Archives of Scotland
DESCRIPTION: The National Archives of Scotland (or NAS), based in
Edinburgh, has one of the most varied collection of archives in the
British
Isles. It is the main archive for sources on the history of Scotland as
a
separate kingdom, her role in the British Isles and the links between
Scotland and many other countries over the centuries. The NAS holds
records
spanning the 12th to the 21st centuries, touching on virtually every
aspect
of Scottish life.
Good Afternoon,
I am looking for African American Chisholms from the Chester, South Carolina
area, I am looking for decedents of slaves that belonged to Thomas, David,
Jr., and Suprey Chisholm. I am trying to find slave information on my great
great grand father Ned, and his brothers William and Dudley and their sister
Hannah. Also I am looking for information on my gggreat grandmother Bridget.
Ned and his brothers were in Gainesville, Florida by 1867, they bought land
in that year, in an area known as Newnan's Lake. My family uses all variants
of the surname Chisholme. I would love to hear from any serious researchers
who would like to share information. Thank you in advance.
