Hi my name is Antoinette Russell Anderson and I have been working on my

I would like to make contact with descendants of these enslaved families. In
1855 Martha Chisholm Lewis wife of Edward Lewis brought her slaves that were
willed to her by her father Suprey Chisholm to Gainesville, Florida. After
reconstruction many headed for the Northern states. I know that some of them
migrated to New York, Ohio, Delaware, Pennyslavania, and there are many
Chisholms in the Baltimore area that are from the Chester area and also Pitsburgh,
Pa, Marion county, Florida. Also we use all variations of the spelling. If
you think thst you may be related to some of these folks please email me. thank
you.
Antoinette

One more thing. Can't find a Charles Chisholm after arrival from NS in 1843. Check Robert Chisholm who was approximately 7 in 1843. He is in the 1870 Census in Ohio as a RR Engineer. Maybe you can back track that way.

Aloha from Hawaii!
My father is James Chisholm, whose father Robert Chisholm was born in Ohio to a John Chisholm.
I've had luck tracking as far as Elizabeth (Eliza?) Chisholm coming into Boston from Nova Scotia in 1843 with the following children: Charles W., Robert, George, Elizabeth Jane and Isabel.
I believe Robert Chisholm who came to the US in 1843 is my great great great grandfather.
Are you still in Ohio?

It was interesting to see this message as I also am trying to find history on Chisholms. My greatgrandparents were Alan and Margaret also, she was a McEachern. They had 4 children John b.1873 (my grandfather) Daniel 1875 who served in WW1, Anne b.1877 and Duncan b.1879. I only have a census from 1881 in which they were at St. Andrews, Antigonish, but I also know they lived in Westville later according to Daniels war records. Would truly like to find any info on Duncan if possible Thank you

My grandfather John William Chisholm is also buried in Ocean View cemetery . He died on 03 Jan 1953 and
wasd buried on 07 jan. 1953. I am and have been trying to make connections to this family, I find them very hard to resaerch. My grand father was born in Nova Scotia. We probably have no connection. It just struck me when you said the date. I would be pleased to hear from you

James Chisholm from Taloney in 1831, Northwest Georgia, is listed on a webpage called "White men with Indian families." The link for the site is listed below.
I am not related to this family, just passing on this information.
