Joanne.
Jacob and Amos were brothers and there were more. You have the the birthdates (1870 and 1876) confused for the emigration dates . Check the "Chips off the old Block" database under World Connect Project for the family tree going back to about 1800.
Good luck

There is a Seely Chisholm buried next to my Great Great Grandfather. He was Daniel Washington Chisholm, SR(born 1821-1831 and died 5/2/1886) and was married to Elizabeth Frances Nettles(7/8/1831-1874). Anyone know who Seely was?

Born: July 18, 1864
Windsor , Florida Died: September 25, 1940 G'ville, Florida
Mrs. Georgiana Parker was born in Windsor , Florida in the month of July
1862, She was the daughter of the late Ed. and Nancy Chisholm Lewis . Her entire
life was spent around the neighborhood of Windsor.
She was a modest, unassuming peaceable young woman and these noble traits of
character were exhibited throughout her entire life. Her unusual attitude won
for her the respect of all those of all those with whom, she came into
contact.
She was married to Mr. Anthony J. Parker Dec.21. 1879. To this union were
born 10 children, of which five still survive, four sons and one daughter.the
family made their home in Gainesville and have resided here to the present
day. They were identified with Bethel AME church of this city. Mrs Parker's
health began to fail several years ago and the most of her life was spent in
feeble health. For this reason she spent a portion of her time with her daughter
Mrs. Julia McClean of Daytonna Beach.
Durning her stay in Daytona she joined Allen Chapel AME church but on her
return home she reconnected with New Bethel AME church under the pastorate of
Rev. A. E.
Tanner but was inactive because of feeble health.
Although her physical strength did not permit her to attend services, her
spirit was with the work and she held on to her faith.
About two weeks ago she began to grow weaker and her constant crave was to
see her daughter Julia but before her daughter reached her she slept quitely
away on Wednesday afternoon about 4 o'clock.
On Monday before she died her life long friend Mrs. A.D.Sapp visited with
her and they conversed together.
When Mrs Sapp was about to depart for home Mrs. Parker asked her to hurry
back to see her again. She also added these words. " If you don't see any more
don't worry about me because I am anchored"
Although she was in feeble health most of her life, she was not confined to
bed, for as late as Wednesday morning she talked with Mr. James Williams of
Newnans Lake and inquired of him as to the well being of his family.
She was a continual but patient sufferer but like Job, she bore it all for
the sake of Him who said " If you suffer , you shall resign with me in my
kingdom" the pains of death are past
Labor and sorrow cease:
and Life's long warfare closed at last, Her soul is ground in peace.

The William Henry Chisholm I have was the son of Thomas Epperson Chisholm. Thomas Epperson died in Arkansas on his way to Texas from Mississippi. His wife went on to Texas and married again. I forget, but can look up, if you like, to whom she remarried.
