Hi, I am researching my family for my father. We are descended from John D. Chisholm of Tippah County, Mississippi. We would like to have a copy of the book about The Chisholm Family History.
If you can give me any information about how we could obtain a copy I would greatly appreciate it.

It was pointed out to me that the Word copy I have is incomplete. I would recommend downloading the full PDF text of the book as originally suggested by chitterchat. It's easy.
If for some reason, you are unable to do it, I still offer that I will email it to you. Many people have helped me with my queries over the years and I am happy to reciprocate.

Krista,
I've read somewhere about a Nancy Monroe, d/o of David Monro, recently, though for the moment I cannot recall where.
Where were John Chisholm b. 1749 and David Monro born ?
So far as I know, I'm not related to any of these.

Does anyone have the book? I use a Mac and many documents will not open on my computer. If you have the book, will you copy and past the book (by sections) into emails and send it to me. I don't know how long it is, so this may not be possible or just too time consuming. Is there a site where it can be read or downloaded? Are there hard copies available? My Chisholm is Roderick C. Chisholm born in 1812 in North Carolina. Parents are unknown, but he had a sister named Janet. I don't know if she was older or younger. In 1850, R. C. Chisholm inherited land from his Aunt Janet McGilvray in Barbour Co., Alabama. Where he was between 1812 and 1850 is unknown.

thanks!
I can probably help you with a PDF copy of the book. It'll be too big to
email but I can provide a private link you can download it from. I'll need
your email address to send the link.
I don't think we can access the Google copy from the UK.

Alastair Chisholm
Bill,

When you are sending out copies of the "History of the Chisholms", could you send me a copy as well?
I tried to access the website, but I couldn't get to the book.
Thanks.

Perhaps that's it. It makes no sense that you would see something so different! (I'm in Chicago.)
I might be able to email you the pdf file (although I'm not sure whether the file size would be too large...??)
