right.

Thank so much, Pamela! These obits clear up some things..I had thought Francis was a woman..and Barnbe was a separate individual. Too, I didn't know about this child of William R...is there an obit for George A. Chisholm?..Was George A. the printer for the newspaper? Was ANGELINE George A's daughter? I found a George chisholm on the 1870 Mobile Census that had a daughter named Angeline who was 19..and found an Angeline that died in 1870..wonder if they are the same...Thank you again, Pamela..Donna

Dan, did William F. have any children? Who had the daughters..William or Colin B.? and where did thet live?..I interested in ALL Chisholms..related or not..Donna
Every now and then I like to ask...
I know nothing of my heritage except that my Chisholms came from
Nova Scotia, married Gertrude Palmer of Maine, and settled in
Massachusetts. Does anyone know anything about them? Frank married
Gertrude Palmer, had one child, Florence, and died young. His brother
Fred married Gertrude to take care of his brother's family and they had
13 (I think) children and died young as well.
Thanks.

Hi, I descend from William Chisholm/Chisum, son of John, son of James, son of Richard Cheesome. William married Deborah cook. I would like to know too whether the Scottish clan story is true. Very interesting. Also, does anyone know about Native blood in William's line or through the Cooks? Carters?
